Abiótica - Vermosapien Clipe Oficial

Abiotic Releases "Vermosapien" Music Video Florida's Abiotic has posted a video clip online for the song "Vermosapien," which can be viewed below. "Vermosapien" is taken off the band's "A Universal Plague" EP. For more info on Abiotic, head over to the band's Facebook profile.
Abiotic is a band hailing from the west coast of Norway, from a town called Kopervik. The band was started about seven years ago (1995) by drummer Joern Folkedal and guitarist John Espen Sagstad. The band started out as a Metallica cover band but soon they began to form their own music going for a more "down tuned kind of new metal" style. They did several gigs with this band, but after the departure of their vocalist they also fired the bass player, and song writers Joern And John Espen now went for a more extreme expression in their music. After moths of jamming, long time friends Thor Andreas Sjoen (vocals) and Erlend H. Lundberg (bass) was hired. These four guys had been jamming for years but due to different projects and “wrong places at the wrong times” they had never before been playing together. This happened around the fall of 1999. Joern and John Espen were still the main songwriters, but Thor Andreas was bringing his own lyrics and made his own vocal lines. The band started making demo tapes by borrowing recording gear from local sound engineers. They built their own studio in Joern's basement and did all the recording, mixing and mastering themselves. In Norway there are absolutely no local clubs that favour live music, so Abiotic began to arrange their own gigs, renting local theatres and pubs. Soon they had built their own local and loyal fan base, and gigs were starting to sell out. They made new demos still lending gear from local sound engineers. They had their latest gig on the May 10th 2002 in front of a very enthusiastic audience.
